Pumpkin treats for your pet
The leaves are falling, the weather is changing and fall is
in the air. There’s nothing better than a pumpkin spice latte in the fall.
Since our furry friends can’t have lattes, here are a few recipes to help get
them in the spirit of the holidays too.
Before we get into some recipes, let’s talk about picking
the right type of pumpkin for your pup. Be sure to use canned puree pumpkin. Do
not use pumpkin pie filling, as these have extra sugars and other ingredients
that may not be good for your pet.
Pumpkin is not only a nice treat for your pup; it can be
good for them too. It may help with diarrhea, constipation, and upset stomach.
As with any food or treats, moderation is key.
