Tips for you and your pet on Thanksgiving

1. No turkey bones or table scraps.

As irresistible as it is, do not feed your pet table scraps. Your meal may be full of ingredients that are toxic for your pets.

2. Treat your pet with a properly prepared turkey meal.

Prepare a small portion of turkey for your pet to enjoy. Make sure to remove the skin and bones, serve with non-toxic veggies.

3. Never leave your pet alone for extended lengths of time.

If you are traveling make sure you have made accommodations for your pets. NEVER leave your pet alone for days at a time.

4. Make sure your pet has their ID tags on.

If you’re hosting, make sure pets are put up so they don’t escape. If they do, you’ll be glad they have their ID and microchip.
